My story.

My boring life.

Okay, let’s admit it: you’re not on Wikipedia.
You’re just here for my portfolio. And maybe my life is boring.
But it worth reading it.

However, just scroll down if you’re here for my CV.

All my steps so far.

Born in Figline Valdarno.
I was born near Florence. I’m the last of four children, therefore I always had to be the best to distinguish myself from my siblings – nothing against them, it’s more the people, you know?-.
I spent my childhood in a community where I met different cultures, growing up with the idea that we’re never alone. Especially when we are working.
Meanwhile I learnt how to play the piano and I became passionate about computers.
Raised in Florence
I attended half of my high school in Florence.
When waking up everyday at 6 a.m. became too much, I moved to a much closer school.
I used that extra time to read again, falling in love with Kurt Vonnegut and his style.

But the city was there, waiting for me to come back for my university.

Moved to Edinburgh
I graduated in 2016.  Three years before, I had attended an English language course in Liverpool.
And I discovered the world: it was my first time abroad.
After my graduation, I decided to keep studying in Edinburgh, city of arts and full of digital companies, my greatest passion.

Which I did. In 2019, I graduated in Interactive Media Design, First Class Honours with Medal of University.

To Milan and beyond
In 2018 I had to do a curricular internship. I ended up sending a really crazy email to a small digital agency in Milan. They were crazy enough to hire me.
I have been working since then, even while I was working on my dissertation. Crazy, uh?

Education.

What was I thinking?

@Edinburgh Napier University

Interactive Media Design

2016-2019

My three years long journey in Edinburgh has ended. My course focused on studying human interaction with machines. Cyberpsychology, User Experience, Digital Storytelling, and Ubiquitous Computing are only few of the modules I attended which helped me to shape my UX knowledge.

Visual Communication

2013-2016

IED has literally my home for three years. It’s been a school not only of advertising, but also for life. I learnt by doing what it means being a copywriter, an art director and mainly how advertising is really built.
I will never forget it.

Who cares about high school?
I do. I really believe that what I studied (ancient greek, latin, italian literature) made me what I am today.
So thank you, Plato.
